LangWeil Studios is Sandra Lang and Walter Weil.  While pursuing Bachelor's degrees at the Columbus College of Art & Design in 1981 and they were exposed to three-dimensional design and ceramics at about the same time. They fell in love with clay and each other. Both have been working in clay ever since and have made it their sole (and soul) livelihood. 

 

In their home studio, they produce original lines of functional pottery as well as decorative one-of-a-kind Raku and Wood Fire pieces. Every item is handcrafted from beginning to end; wheel thrown and hand built. Both Sandra and Walter are proficient in all aspects of studio processes. The work is very much a collaborative endeavor.

 

They have also worked in a freelance capacity for companies and organizations producing prototypes, models, custom design, and limited-edition production.
